This is probably a question that every educator has asked at some time in his/her career! Good, effective, courageous, collaborative leaders are a blessing in any school (in fact, any organization). As I read the article, I reflected on the principals with whom I have worked. I believe that in order for any school to be an effective learning community for students, staff, and the community it serves, EVERYONE in the school has to be a leader. This article in the June 1, 2012 Education Week is a thoughtful piece on this hot topic.
