Adieu and Bonjour

by

Bob, the pilot

On July 18, the Bright Futures Middle Level Partnership met to begin planning the calendar for the next year. Our meeting was hosted by Bob Spear at his home and camp. The meeting was bittersweet. The Partnership has been fortunate to have Bob as a member (that’s the sweet part), and now he has decided to REALLY retire and concentrate on .his family new home (sweet for him, bitter for the Partnership). He will be greatly missed!

Middle Level Education never takes a vacation.

The Bright Futures Partnership is continuing to advocate for and support Middle Level Education in Maine.

Jill Spencer smiles while thinking about the good work done in middle schools in Maine.

Look for more information and professional development opportunities during the coming school year.  Some new members will be coming on board in the next month.

Thank you, Bob for your untiring guidance and advocacy for the best education for ALL young adolescents.
